Liquid Agitator

Our Process and Mechanical design teams can size the agitation requirements based upon the product specific gravity, viscosity and characteristics. We offer Agitators with impellers of propeller, turbine, paddle, helical or anchor type configuration. For some specific high viscosity products such as grease lubricants, adhesives and polymers, double motion agitator arrangements are designed, using paddle-turbine and anchor stirrer designs. Our agitators utilize commercially available components such as motors, couplings, reducers and shaft seals.

Thermic Heating Systems: We offer low pressure, high temperature electrical heating systems as alternatives to mini-boilers. These are preferred over the boilers as they are outside the purview of Boiler regulations and are most suitable for continuous operations, designed for cleaner environment.

Vacuum Drying Oven

 

The Vacuum Drying Oven is a large volume tray drying oven with double wall shelf plates for efficient heat transfer. The advantage of the tray design results in ease of product handling, minimal product wastage and ease of cleaning. Near zero maintenance in the absence of moving parts adds to its advantage.

Vibro Sifter

 

In Vibro Sifter the material to be screened is fed on to the centre of top screen. The undersize material passes rapidly though the screen during its travel to the periphery. The over size material is continuously discharged through a tangential outlet. Vibro Sifter sare equipped to handle multiple screens one on top of the other with feed trays in between to give several precise sized fractions in a single screening operation. Special designs with up to seven screens are also available for grading.

The top weight on the motor shaft rotates in a plane close to the centre of mass of the assembly. Rotation of the top eccentric weights create vibration in the horizontal plane which causes the material to move across the screen cloth to the periphery. Increasing the top eccentric mass increases the horizontal throw causing oversize material to discharge at a faster rate.

The bottom eccentric weights rotate below the centre of the vibrating mass creating tilt on the screens giving vibration in vertical and tangential planes. Increasing the vertical component of motion promotes turn over of material on the screen surface helping maximum quantity of undersize material to pass through the screen. The effective vertical motion helps in minimizing blinding of screen.

The tangential component of motion is controlled by the angle of lead given to bottom weights with relation to top weights. Variation in lead angle controls the spiral pattern of material travel over the screen cloth. Speed and Flow pattern of material travel over the screen cloth can be set by the operator for maximum through-put and screening efficiency. Features

  • Greater Capacity – Gyroscreen gives greater capacity per meter square of screening area and oversize material is discharged with relatively less percentage of fines when compared to other screening machines.
  • Minimum Blinding – Gyroscreen multi-plane action limits screen blinding to an acceptable minimum. However, for material having inherent blinding characteristics, we offer anti-blinding accessories to eliminate blinding.
  • Longer Screen Life – Screen cloth is held in uniform tension on specially designed mesh frames. The tight screening surfaces vibrates rigidly without flexing of wires, greatly reducing screen wear and increasing screen life.
  • No Transmitted Vibration – No special flooring foundation is required. The Vibro Screen may be placed wherever required, like on the top of bins, on wooden floors, or light structures.
  • Minimum Space Requirement – For equivalent capacity, Vibro Screen requires less space than other screening systems. Compact units can fit right into existing Production Lines.

Ball Mill consists of cylindrical shell rotating on a horizontal axis mounted on a sturdy Mild Steel Frame. The Ball Mill Shell is designed to withstand the rotational load of the mill charged with the grinding medium and the material to be processed. Openings are provided through which the grinding medium and the material to be processed are loaded and discharged. The Mill is driven by motor coupled to the Reduction Gear box with Chain and Sprocket arrangement.

Mill Linings
Ball and Pebble Mills may be lined with rubber, ceramic and wear resistant metallic liners.

Grinding Media
Mills may be charged with ceramic, steel and alloy steel grinding media. These are spherical or cylindrical in shape and range from 6 mm to 100 mm in size.

Kneader Mixer Extruder

 

The Kneader Extruder combines the efficiency of a double arm mixer with the convenience of extrusion screws for improved mixing and discharge of heavy viscous materials.

The Kneader Extruder includes a set of contra-rotating kneading blades and one or more extrusion screws. The blades are mounted on a horizontal axis in a W-shaped trough. Below the blades in a separate cavity are the extrusion screws. During the mixing cycle the blades rotate towards each other while the mixing screws rotate in a reverse direction, constantly feeding new materials into the mixing blades. After the mixing/kneading cycle is complete, the screws are reversed and they extrude and transport the mixed materials out of the mix zone.

Kneader Mixer

SIGMA-BLADE-MIXER

Kneader mixer has two mixing blades rotate towards each other at differential speeds inside a W-shaped trough. Each blade moves the material in opposite direction thereby providing excellent cross mixing of all raw materials. The blades pass the trough walls and each other at close clearances resulting in good mixing. The close clearance produces a shearing  action that is beneficial to the size reduction of solids. This mixer is most suitable for highly viscous material and dough like masses. Selection of appropriate blade shape and speeds result in excellent mixing. On completion of the mix cycle, the trough of the mixer is tilted and the product is discharged. The mixer is also available with a bottom opening design for discharge.

Double Planetary Mixer

Double Planetary Mixer includes two blades that rotate on their own axes, while they orbit the mix vessel on a common axis. The blades continuously advance along the periphery of the vessel, removing material from the vessel wall and transporting it to the interior. After one revolution the blades have passed through the entire vessel, after three revolutions most materials have been mixed and after only 36 revolutions, the blades have contacted virtually the entire batch.

Single Planetary Mixer

 

Single Planetary Mixer includes a bowl with a blade that has a planetary motion such that it visits all parts of the vessel.

The Planetary Mixer is used for mixing of dry / wet materials. The mixer is ideal for processing light pastes to heavy viscous products. Rotation of beater around its own axis, axis of bowl closer to the walls leads to homogeneous product mix. Top mounted beater makes cleaning easy. The mixer is offered with single, double beater design. Based on the requirement a scrapper can be provided for scrapping the walls of the bowl. Varied Beater Shapes are available to suit product and process applications. Combination of high to low beater speeds helps in particle size reduction further adding to the quality of the mix processed. Low beater speeds are selected for processing of heavy, pasty and dough like masses.

Plough Share Mixer

Plough Share mixer consists of a horizontal cylindrical container with multiple plough shaped shovels mounted on the main shaft. With 30% – 70 % filling of the container, the size, number and positioning, geometric shape and peripheral speed of the mixing elements are co-ordinated in such a way that they produce a whirling, three-dimensional product movement. The resultant turbulence in the mix, whereby the entire product is constantly involved in the mixing process, prevents the formation of dead-spots or low-movement zones in the mixing container and ensures fast and homogenous mixing. The mixing elements are specially designed to lift the material from the inside wall of the container without squashing the particles against the wall. In addition, separately driven high-speed choppers can be installed to disperse agglomerations and control granulation during the mixing process in co-ordination with the mixing elements.

Plough Share Mixer

Chopper Action (Optional)
Single or multiple choppers are located in the lower part of the mixing container in such a way that the chopper assembly is inserted into the wall of the container at points in between the flights of two adjacent mixing shovels. The shovels operate beneath the rotating choppers. Together with the mixing shovels, the high-speed choppers remove lumps in the raw material, chop pasty additives and prevent formation of agglomerates on liquid addition. The choppers can be switched on and off, independent of the main drive shaft. Thus, the influence of the chopper action on the product mix can be controlled.
